Qurban Animal Selling in Capital Increases 100 Percent

Jakarta Provincial Government has checked 95,766 qurban animals sold at 1,495 shelters. The number is 100 percent higher compared to previous year by 46 thousand animals.

He added that Jakarta Provincial Goverment has checked the animals by involving competent side such as Jakarta Veterinary and Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB).
National Standard Slaughtering House to Be ProvidedJakarta Head Dept. of KPKP stated of 95,766 animals, 95,508 of them are allowed for today’s slaughtering. In details are 21,709 cows, 248 buffalos, 68,737 goats, and 4,815 sheep. The other 258 animals are returned to the sellers.
“Nine animals are sick, 23 animals are defect, and 213 are underage,” he explained.
